How we operate

Everything after
the purchase order.

A purchase order proves that we are financially committed. Our operating system determines what happens next — nine disciplines, run every day, at SKU level.

Operating capabilities

01

Marketplace strategy

We evaluate the catalog, competitive landscape, pricing structure, customer demand, category position, and operational constraints before building the growth plan.

02

Catalog and content

Listings are the storefront. We create and improve them continuously against search and conversion data.

09

Marketplace compliance

MerchanDesire operates with a strict commitment to Amazon’s Terms of Service, marketplace policies, advertising rules, review policies, catalog requirements, and account-health standards. We do not build growth around manipulative reviews, prohibited ranking tactics, misleading catalog changes, unauthorized claims, or temporary loopholes.

Every strategy must pass two tests: does it create meaningful growth, and does it fully respect Amazon’s rules?

Partnership process

From initial review
to repeat purchase orders.

  1. Step 01

    Introduction

The brand or distributor submits its company information, catalog, marketplace status, and partnership goals.

  2. Step 02

    Opportunity review

We evaluate existing demand, competitive conditions, pricing, wholesale economics, reviews, catalog quality, inventory availability, marketplace restrictions, and growth potential.

  3. Step 03

    Partnership structure

Both sides align on authorized channels, approved products, wholesale pricing, initial order quantities, payment terms, pricing policies, content permissions, advertising responsibilities, and reporting expectations.

  4. Step 04

    Initial purchase order

MerchanDesire purchases the approved inventory and begins onboarding the catalog.

  5. Step 05

    Marketplace execution

We list the products in our marketplace accounts and run the resale operation: content, inventory, pricing, advertising, fulfillment, and account health.

  6. Step 06

    Review and scale

We review performance with the partner, place replenishment orders, expand winning SKUs, and address underperforming opportunities.

Common questions

What partners ask first.

Does MerchanDesire purchase inventory?

Yes. Our primary brand-partnership model is wholesale. We purchase approved inventory from brands and authorized distributors and resell it through agreed marketplace channels.

Is MerchanDesire an agency?

No. MerchanDesire is a marketplace operator and inventory owner. We may perform many functions associated with an Amazon agency, but we operate as a wholesale reseller with our own capital invested in inventory and growth.

Does a brand need to be selling on Amazon already?

No, but the brand does need an established market. Existing marketplace performance helps us evaluate demand, and we equally consider brands proven through retail, wholesale or their own channels that have not yet developed their Amazon presence properly.

Does MerchanDesire require exclusivity?

Not in every partnership. The appropriate reseller structure depends on the brand, catalog, existing distribution, pricing policies, and marketplace objectives. Preferred or exclusive arrangements may be discussed where they benefit both parties.

Who controls pricing?

Pricing responsibilities and expectations are established during onboarding. We consider wholesale economics, marketplace competition, inventory, customer demand, contribution margin, and applicable brand pricing policies.

Who pays for marketplace advertising?

The structure may vary by partnership. Under our standard wholesale model, MerchanDesire invests in the marketplace operation and manages advertising as part of growing the inventory it purchases.

How quickly can a partnership launch?

Timing depends on catalog complexity, authorization, inventory availability, listing condition, marketplace restrictions, and operational readiness. Qualified submissions are reviewed within two business days, after which we outline the next steps.

What product information is required?

We generally request a catalog, wholesale pricing, product identifiers, inventory availability, brand authorization, marketplace restrictions, image assets, product specifications, and applicable pricing policies.
